About the role

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across a global team, while actively contributing to key areas of the month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Review and prepare selected journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial results to maintain a high standard of accuracy and completeness
  • Support and help manage a smooth and efficient month-end close process, identifying opportunities to improve timelines and workflows
  • Serve as a primary liaison with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and other consultants
  • Coordinate and support the annual audit process, including managing audit timelines, preparing deliverables, and responding to auditor requests, in partnership with the Corporate Controller
  • Partner with the team to ensure US and Local GAAP compliance across global entities, reviewing key areas and escalating complex issues as needed
  • Support key accounting areas such as revenue recognition, equity, and other complex or judgmental areas by reviewing analyses and partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements, leveraging automation and technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Implement and maintain best practices for accounting processes and financial reporting
  • Mentor and support accounting team members, providing guidance, reviewing work, and helping prioritize workload effectively
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and other teams to support business initiatives and ensure alignment with accounting processes
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as necessary
  • Oversee statutory annual financial statements and local audits across global entities, ensuring compliance and timely filings in coordination with the Finance Director, external tax advisors/auditors, and other partners.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Public accounting experience, preferred CPA certified, preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Experience working across multiple entities or international subsidiaries preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with overall comfort across Microsoft and Google Workspace tools
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Team-first mindset; strong interpersonal skills
