About the role
- Check factual accuracy of content.
- Work with AI systems to help draft news articles while applying your own editorial judgement.
- Ensure all content meets legal, ethical, and accuracy standards.
- Efficiently upload and manage stories using AI-powered tools.
- Monitor AI-generated content to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with existing editorial teams to integrate AI outputs.
- Train other reporters in AI usage when needed.
- Stay updated on AI tools and journalism best practices.
- Meet agreed content targets.
Requirements
- NCTJ diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of journalistic principles and media law.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new tools and techniques.
- Ability to analyse data and use insights to inform content decisions.
