About the role
- Responsible for accounting-related processes at the Wichita plant including budgeting, costing, capital spending, inventory and productivity
- Act as the liaison between finance and plant operations
- Develop and maintain accurate manufacturing cost file and division's cost rolls
- Prepare monthly closing requirements and analyze operating variances
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience with cost accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of PC spreadsheets, databases and mainframe standard cost and inventory systems
- Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of associates and work in a team environment
