About the role

  • Own end-to-end studio delivery from pre-production through final asset release across photography, video, and post-production.
  • Lead daily studio operations ensuring timelines, quality standards, and production targets are met.
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and software resources effectively to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on leadership across shoots and post-production to ensure consistency in execution and output.
  • Lead, coach, and develop studio, production, and post-production teams.
  • Establish clear roles, expectations, and performance standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate creative briefs into scoped production plans aligned to budget, timeline, and output expectations.
  • Own studio workflows, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and enforce studio and post-production quality standards.
  • Own studio-level budgets including labor, freelancers, equipment, and vendors.
  • Act as primary studio partner to Creative, Brand, Marketing, DTC, and eCommerce teams.
  • Support and scale AI-enabled tools across studio and post-production workflows.
  • Stay current on production technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Videography, Visual Effects, Digital Filmmaking, Media Production, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in creative studio, production, or post-production leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading both studio production and post-production within a single operational model.
  • Strong operational and project management skills; fluency with Workfront, FrameIO, DAM/AEM, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Deep understanding of photography, video production, editing, retouching, motion, and content finishing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, timelines, and vendors.
  • Experience integrating AI or automation into creative workflows preferred.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, solution-oriented, and effective in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel for productions as needed.
