About the role
- Provide training of warehouse personnel to maintain OSHA, ISO and internal requirement.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities for the Distribution area.
- Evaluate and manage equipment, systems, and facility to improve efficiencies and workflow.
- Develop plans for resource utilization.
- Conduct short‑term planning to support shifting priorities and operational demands.
- Perform ongoing problem‑solving and provide clear communication in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and work to eliminate waste.
- Clearly communicate business objectives so employees understand how their work contributes to organizational success.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, housekeeping standards, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Strong team orientation, self‑motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of PkMS and SAP related to warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including strong Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma principles, along with strong quantitative, analytical, and process redesign capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, motivation, and employee‑inspiration skills.
