About the role
- Monitor the production process from an environmental perspective.
- Oversee liquid and gaseous discharges and perform sampling when necessary.
- Ensure monitoring of environmental controls and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the safety management system and track action plans.
- Conduct audits and investigations following accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Update the DUERP (single workplace risk assessment document) and safety action plans.
- Facilitate safety awareness and training activities.
- Manage the quality system and ISO 9001 certification audits.
- Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products.
- Lead management review meetings.
- Manage and maintain PEFC certification.
Requirements
- Higher education (Bachelor's to Master's level, Bac+3 to Bac+5) in QHSE or equivalent, with proven experience in an industrial environmental role, ideally with chemical processes.
- Good command of ISO standards.
- Comfortable working on-site, pedagogical, and meticulous.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to supervise one employee.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and a continuous improvement mindset.
