About the role
- Coordinate, deploy and implement the EHS strategy in Brazil
- Build a strong Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) culture
- Ensure zero injuries and occupational illnesses
- Participate in the development of local EHS resources
- Create and implement strategies to raise EHS performance
- Conduct compliance and regulatory assessments
- Develop EHS programs based on trend analysis
- Validate management-of-change processes that impact Environment, Health and Safety
- Act as the technical EHS owner in compliance with national legislation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English
- Spanish fluency a plus
- Solid experience in management roles for Safety and Environmental functions within industrial settings
- Knowledge of Brazilian legislation and understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations
- Experience implementing environmental, health and safety management systems
- Proficiency with tools such as Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Responsible, strategic and analytical profile
