Account Executive

• Provide best in class customer service.
• Keep current on product updates, new products, and new product lines.
• Meet and exceed Department and territory objectives such as sales quotas, gross profit requirements, etc. by taking a proactive approach to achieve those goals.
• Be aware of, assist, and be the primary leader in the completion and submission of customer bids and other quotations for sales opportunities within assigned territory.
• Manage assigned territory and accounts to increase parts sales and market share.
• The Outside Salesperson is expected to be the authority for all things pertaining to their assigned customers.
• Proactively look for sales opportunities among assigned and potential customers.
• Ensure the Department is maximizing the potential market share of the customers total business and searching for ways to unseat the competition.
• Strategically plan and prioritize efforts, schedule, and sales tactics to maximally utilize time and resources.
• Regularly visit customer locations to establish, maintain, and grow relationships.
• Work with manufacturer and other representatives to increase customer relationships and sales success.
• Identify and maintain a roster of potential clients who are not officially assigned to the territory to deal with customer attrition and accounts that show little successful sales results.
• Work with Department management and other employees to ensure customer needs are met.

Outside Parts Sales Representative

• Cover assigned territory and accounts and sell full school bus product line and services offered by New York Bus Sales.
• Plan, prioritize and manage assigned territory, both current and potential customers.
• Give presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns via phone, electronically or in person.
• Make cold calls to potential clients both in person and electronically.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and good client relationships while using ethical sales methods.
• Provide sales report upon request as well as territory specific trends.
• Make good business decisions in accordance with established procedures and policies.
• Follow all prescribed Safety methods and perform work safely.
• Attend trade shows and local meetings to support sales activities across the designated territory.
