About the role
- Create new relationships and manage existing ones with Financial Advisors
- Increase sales and revenue of Neuberger Berman mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, and alternative investment strategies
- Lead and develop the Mid West territory targeting wirehouses and broker dealers
- Develop and implement a business plan for the territory
- Maintain a high level of expertise related to capital markets
- Coordinate all prospect meetings and sales support activities
- Maintain all activity information in Neuberger Berman CRM database
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the investment management industry
- 5+ years of intermediary distribution experience preferred
- Experience working with wirehouse, regional, and independent financial advisors
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding predetermined key objectives
- Strong executive presence, active listening, client preparedness, and presentation skills
- Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree a plus
- CIMA, CAIA, or CFA designations a plus
