About the role

  • Create new relationships and manage existing ones with Financial Advisors
  • Increase sales and revenue of Neuberger Berman mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, and alternative investment strategies
  • Lead and develop the Mid West territory targeting wirehouses and broker dealers
  • Develop and implement a business plan for the territory
  • Maintain a high level of expertise related to capital markets
  • Coordinate all prospect meetings and sales support activities
  • Maintain all activity information in Neuberger Berman CRM database

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the investment management industry
  • 5+ years of intermediary distribution experience preferred
  • Experience working with wirehouse, regional, and independent financial advisors
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding predetermined key objectives
  • Strong executive presence, active listening, client preparedness, and presentation skills
  • Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree a plus
  • CIMA, CAIA, or CFA designations a plus
