About the role
- Write maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.
- Analyze, diagnose, and modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new workflows, or improve performance.
- Analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Develop new features and functionality according to requirements, while maintaining high quality and low defect rates.
- Work with other team members to create and evaluate estimates for development efforts based on stakeholder requirements.
- Aid testers and support personnel as needed to troubleshoot the root cause of system issues.
Requirements
- Senior-level developer with 5 years or more of experience
- Well-versed in both back-end and front-end web technologies, especially Ruby on Rails and React
- Experience writing maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code
- Desire to have an immediate and meaningful impact with your work, and improve every day
- Enjoy contributing to a collaborative environment
- Experience in a remote-first work environment
- Experience using AI to help you solve problems and write better code, more quickly.
