About the role

  • Write maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new workflows, or improve performance.
  • Analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Develop new features and functionality according to requirements, while maintaining high quality and low defect rates.
  • Work with other team members to create and evaluate estimates for development efforts based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Aid testers and support personnel as needed to troubleshoot the root cause of system issues.

Requirements

  • Senior-level developer with 5 years or more of experience
  • Well-versed in both back-end and front-end web technologies, especially Ruby on Rails and React
  • Experience writing maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code
  • Desire to have an immediate and meaningful impact with your work, and improve every day
  • Enjoy contributing to a collaborative environment
  • Experience in a remote-first work environment
  • Experience using AI to help you solve problems and write better code, more quickly.
