About the role
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, delivering actionable insights through ongoing reports and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies that enhance data quality and statistical efficiency.
- Extract and manage data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring database integrity and system reliability.
- Identify, analyze, and visualize trends or patterns in complex datasets using Power BI and SQL queries.
- Clean and transform data by reviewing BI reports and SQL code to uncover inconsistencies and resolve data issues.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in business analytics, including writing SQL queries, building Power BI dashboards, and generating reports.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report publishing.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Microsoft SSRS, SAP Crystal Reports, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, or JavaScript.
- Ability to work with large datasets and ETL frameworks.
- Experience using statistical tools like Excel, SPSS, or SAS.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry, especially working with clinical, financial, or operational data.
