About the role
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the container landscape
- Be part of a dedicated team managing our client's cloud infrastructure
- Responsible for stable operations (run phase) and incident management
- Handle incoming incident reports and service requests (via Jira/ITSM tools)
- Monitor Kubernetes clusters and interfaces (APIs)
- Maintenance: perform updates, patching, and deployments
- Document incidents professionally
Requirements
- Several years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or platform operations
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and container technologies
- Experience operating and maintaining APIs and distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP Cloud Platform)
- Experience with incident, problem, and service management (e.g., ITIL)
- Confident use of monitoring tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), and version control (Git)
- Experience collaborating with internal support and development teams as well as external vendors
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- High sense of responsibility and resilience in incident situations
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Team player with enthusiasm for collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
