Build privacy engineering solutions spanning over the entire Netflix infrastructure
Partner closely with other software engineers, data scientists and TPMs to design, prototype, develop, run and improve data detection, classification and metadata systems at scale
Innovate, solve challenging problems and impact the business in a meaningful way
Work across diverse environments including distributed systems, data streaming and data warehouse

Requirements

Strong software engineer highly proficient in Java
Experience developing software and building services and automation
Strong interest in working with data, large data sets, and modern data platforms
Experience using SQL (any variant) with large data sets is nice to have
Experience in engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large scale data sets is nice to have
Experience with large language models (LLMs) and machine learning is nice to have
Passionate about privacy and data protection
