About the role
- Build and run cross-portfolio product operating systems that improve speed and consistency across the slate (e.g., KPI definitions, instrumentation norms, dashboards, reads, decision forums, and performance cadences).
- Partner deeply with Data Science & Engineering (DSE) to define and operationalize vertical KPI frameworks, ensure measurement quality, and create durable product performance rituals.
- Partner deeply with Finance & Strategy (F&S) to establish operating cadence and the mechanisms for how Games Product plugs into planning and reporting.
- Own portfolio governance frameworks including scoring, tiering, and resourcing recommendations, and help drive quarterly rebalancing aligned to impact.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder horizontal initiatives that require PM rigor and continuity — for example, ironing out and operationalizing a UA Optimization model and related decision-making processes in partnership with F&S, DSE, and Marketing.
- Champion cross-portfolio IP moments for live service, coordinating opportunities that span multiple titles rather than a single game team.
- Flex into priority game teams to provide support Games Title Product Managers during launches, major updates, system rewrites, or peak complexity — driving clearly defined workstreams without changing the primary owner.
- Serve as interim primary owner for titles that need Games Title PM coverage before they warrant a dedicated embedded PM, with clear exit criteria and conversion recommendations as the slate evolves.
- Synthesize learnings across titles to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where we should standardize playbooks to avoid reinvention.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management for games or a highly related role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs with high ambiguity and multiple workstreams.
- Strong product judgment and ability to operate at multiple altitudes: strategic frameworks + hands-on execution.
- Strong data fluency with a track record of using insights to drive decisions (comfort partnering with data science, defining KPIs, and shaping measurement).
- Experience building and running operating cadences (dashboards/reads/decision forums) that change how teams make decisions.
- Familiarity with game performance levers across the lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, engagement loops, retention, content cadence), with live service experience preferred.
- Comfort collaborating across disciplines including production, design, engineering, marketing, finance/strategy, and analytics.
- Ability to context switch quickly while maintaining clarity of ownership, priorities, and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable influencing across teams and disciplines.
- Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity in a rapidly evolving organization.
