About the role
- Lead the UX and UI design of proprietary tools that enable game developers and partners to integrate features and services into their games, and launch their games on Netflix.
- Identify, research, and drive individual design initiatives – down to the nitty gritty details to the holistic user journey – while navigating a complex set of user problems and business requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, product managers, technical writers, UX writers, UX researchers, and other stakeholders to develop new concepts and improve our suite of tools and features.
- Work with our established design systems, and also contribute and innovate on new design components specific for our tools and unique needs.
- Present your design work and strategy to key stakeholders and team members for visibility and feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years as a Product Designer (or equivalent experience) in the B2B2C space
- Experience with game development, game platforms, game tools, and game developer personas
- Experience working with complex internal systems and partner-facing platforms
- A passionate energy for great design and amplifying our team culture
- A versatile portfolio that showcases deep interaction and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously, make strategic decisions independently, and drive clarity within ambiguous problem spaces
- Understanding of complex workflows designed to scale across diverse, global operations teams
- Experience contributing to and consuming component-based design systems
- Excellent communication and people skills that excite stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours and travel occasionally to California.
