Apply expert knowledge of ASC 606 to analyze complex revenue contracts and transactions
Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities
Collaborate with NetApp’s finance team to develop and maintain revenue recognition policies
Research and provide technical accounting guidance related to new products
Perform independent technical accounting research and document conclusions
Collaborate with the internal audit team to ensure compliance with SOX controls
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of revenue contracts
Perform revenue forecasting and variance analysis
Assist with external audits and act as a point of contact for revenue-related inquiries
Perform data analytics to study the month-over-month changes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in revenue accounting
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
Proven experience in revenue recognition for complex contracts and transactions, preferably in a technology or software industry
Experience with Oracle and RevPro systems is a plus
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
