About the role

  • As a Client Executive Public Sector, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and strategically developing selected clients from the state and municipal sectors.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for your clients, working with them on central transformation initiatives.
  • Cyber resilience and IT security: protecting critical administrative and infrastructure data, ensuring fault tolerance, business continuity, and backup and recovery strategies.
  • Artificial Intelligence: applying AI to automate processes, increase efficiency, and alleviate scarce specialist resources in public administration.
  • Digital and data sovereignty: compliant data handling, hybrid and sovereign cloud strategies, and control over sensitive administrative data.
  • Public sector skills shortage: simplifying IT operations through automation, standardization, and intelligent platform approaches.
  • In close cooperation with internal specialist departments and sales partners, you will develop tailored solution and transformation strategies for states and municipalities.
  • In addition, you will represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and in relevant public sector networks.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience with IT solutions for the public sector – on the client or supplier side
  • Deep understanding of the structures, decision-making processes, and regulatory frameworks of states and municipalities
  • Solid knowledge in the areas of digitization, IT security, cloud, artificial intelligence, and funding programs
  • Proven experience in strategic account development and managing complex stakeholder structures
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at decision-maker level, as well as an established, resilient network in the state and municipal environment
  • High level of initiative, strong customer focus, and confident performance in complex organizations
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the sales region
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
