About the role
- Execute automated and manual test cases for storage hardware
- Review and analyze test logs to identify issues and ensure accuracy
- Develop new test cases and contribute to test planning
- Perform root cause analysis and debugging of issues
- Guide and coordinate project execution as a lead
- Represent the team in project meetings and communicate progress
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve team processes
- Learn and apply knowledge of new systems and technologies
- Proactively resolve blockers and challenges
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant engineering or QA testing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience executing and documenting test cases
- Ability to develop and review test plans
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Background in storage hardware (HDD, SSD, NVMe) is preferred
- Working knowledge of Linux environments is preferred
- Understanding of basic networking, RAID, and storage principles is preferred
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools is preferred
- Exposure to scripting (Python) is preferred
- Experience using storage protocol analyzers is preferred
