About the role
- As a part of the Quality Compliance and Analytics (QCA) team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for creating metrics and generating reports.
- Working closely with stakeholders from the Engineering and Support departments, the Business Analyst will contribute to the development of tools utilizing the generated metrics.
- Additionally, perform statistical analysis to drive improvements in Product and Support, all while taking into consideration business requirements.
Requirements
- Strong RDBMS skills which include writing complex SQL queries using MS SQL Server and Oracle and the ability to work with multiple data sources like Snowflake.
- Good knowledge of Python
- Strong knowledge of Shell scripting in UNIX
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
- Data mining using Dremio, Hadoop technologies Hive, Spark/Scala, and other databases.
- Create business requirements documents working with multiple stakeholders in the Engineering and Support organization.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Oracle, Spark, SQL, and other big data technologies.
- Report on data analysis findings regularly to engineers and analysts within the org and external teams.
- Present approaches and findings using analytical and problem-solving skills effectively.
- Have a good understanding of Storage products, Software development, and Support operation processes.
