About the role

  • Creating/reviewing/writing test procedures for storage system products.
  • Applying current skills to plan system level testing as part of the development cycle.
  • Working on the environmental test planning for products through the product life.
  • Problem solving issues during test and product release.
  • Documenting/coordinating test schedules with external resources.
  • Reviewing partner or Supplier test plans.
  • Work closely with the tool engineers to define test requirements of program.
  • Define debug efforts for root cause in the event of a field failure.
  • Participate in technical discussions where evaluating test plans for products are reviewed.
  • Willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will positively contribute toward team, department, and company goals.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of design engineering and system test.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures.
  • Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
  • Creative approach to problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
