About the role
- Participate in technical integration sessions with our clients' development teams (and sometimes lead them), providing expert guidance and hands-on support on how to integrate with our platform throughout the lifecycle
- Develop detailed technical specifications for integrations between our platform and our B2B clients' backend systems (including API and event mapping, data flows, etc.)
- Design, code, test, and deploy custom integrations, connectors, or extensions when client requirements exceed the product's standard capabilities
- Facilitate technical integration and troubleshooting sessions with client engineering teams to ensure optimal connectivity after deployment of the integration connector
- Act as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) for components under your ownership and for the integrations development team, supporting pre-sales consultations, implementation, and post-launch activities
- Create and maintain a library of documentation, demos, prototypes, or proofs of concept (PoCs) to showcase our integration capabilities and accelerate the sales cycle
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in a client-facing technical role, such as backend developer, integration consultant, or professional services engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, C#) for developing custom solutions
- Good knowledge of databases (relational, non-relational, and NoSQL)
- Proven ability to write technical documentation and clear specifications for other developers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Natural problem-solving mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to find creative solutions to technical challenges
