About the role
- Provide technical expertise to reduce both technical and production losses
- coaching and/or participating in problem solving
- implementing solutions
- reporting and tracking of the maintenance work order costs
- support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues
- lead and participate in breakdown analysis
- actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality
- assist with the technical training program for all factory operational staff
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 and National Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- time served apprenticeship
- Dual trained (mechanical and electrical)
- proven experience in manufacturing, Food industry being preferable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Experience in Installation and inspection and Testing e.g minor works training or City and Guilds
