About the role
- Provide leadership to ensure facility delivers products at highest quality standards
- Ownership of sanitation, ingredients, packaging, and quality systems management
- Develop, implement, and manage all Quality Assurance programs
- Ensure compliance with QMS / FSSC 22000 standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive improvements and monitor Quality Metrics/KPI's
- Manage QA related projects from inception to final reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality roles
- At least 5 years in a managerial capacity in a large food and beverage manufacturing facility
- Strong knowledge of food safety / HACCP, GMP’s, Allergen Controls, Sanitary design/controls, pest control, basic food regulations, and specifications
- Strong demonstrated verbal / written communications, influencing skills, analytical and problem solving skills
- Nestlé NQMS or FSSC 22000 training or similar Food Safety and Quality Systems training by Silliker, etc.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish Preferred
