About the role

  • Act as the single operational point of contact between Markets, Zone, and Business Units for all Design Projects, managing day‑to‑day project requests, ensuring clarity and completeness of briefs, coordinating planning and timelines with stakeholders, and driving seamless execution from start to finish with internal team or external partners.
  • Coordinate and align with the IBS Design Services team and/or partner agencies to ensure efficient, timely, and high‑quality delivery of all Design outputs, meeting brand and local market needs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Champions the adoption of Global Design Excellence ways of working, drives asset reuse, and shares best practices to optimise resources and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include briefing support, progress tracking, cost management, demand planning, and reporting.
  • Support the transition of Packaging Adaptation activities from Market and local agencies to the Design Studio model or In-house team by guiding stakeholders through the established processes and maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders to resolve any issues.
  • Own the operational success of the Design Studio model and Adaptation Services by leading all performance reporting and reviews.
  • Ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently on target and updated, proactively monitor progress, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead weekly and monthly operational meetings (MORs) with key stakeholders, and support in the Design Studio StreerCo Meetings, aligning priorities, sharing learnings, and addressing challenges to maintain efficiency and excellence.
  • Maintain close and regular communication with Markets, Zones, and/or Business Units to collect annual and quarterly forecasts for all related Design Projects, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date visibility of demand.
  • Share this information with key stakeholders, such as Team Leads, to ensure that internal team and partner agencies have the capacity and resources required to meet the forecasted scope.
  • Partner with assigned agencies and the internal design team to optimise planning, ensure timely and high‑quality delivery, and provide clear guidance on briefs and design feedback.
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment by understanding project and stakeholder needs, enhancing outcomes, and strengthening ways of working.
  • Proactively address issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, implementing solutions to keep projects on track and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on matters related to agency or vendor performance to ensure effective resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all packaging adaptation briefs adhere to Nestlé Design Excellence best practices.
  • Take on a leadership role in driving best practices and optimizing processes within the packaging design adaptation area.

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years leading brand identity and packaging adaptation projects, with full end‑to‑end design process expertise (agency or client side).
  • Ability to ensure consistent application of global brand guidelines while effectively managing timelines, stakeholders, and project briefs/expectations.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG packaging design and artwork requirements, including formats, substrates, print processes, and colour management.
  • Proficient in digital file formats for packaging design, artwork master files, and related assets.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong client relationships and leading projects collaboratively across markets and cultures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage across multiple reporting levels.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and project timelines.
  • Solid understanding of digital workflows, DAM systems, and collaborative tools.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Eye for design detail and passion for driving brand consistency and excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Design Management, Project Management or related field.
