About the role
- Provide process engineering technical support for operations
- Plan, design, implement and manage continuous improvement systems
- Develop processes and procedures for manufacturing processes
- Perform validation evaluations and write/executing validation protocols
- Develop project justification and engineering proposals
- Ensure compliance with USDA and FDA regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Engineering or equivalent with experience in the food, beverage, or dairy industries
- 3+ years of engineering experience in Thermal Process, CIP or equivalent in a FDA, USDA or PMO regulated food, beverage, or dairy facility
- 2+ years of Project Management experience.
- Experience with UHT / Aseptic operation in a food, beverage or dairy plant (preferred)
- Knowledge of CIP systems, Hygienic engineering, food industry GMPs LOTO and line break safety procedures identification and development (preferred)
