About the role
- managing the engineering activities relating to the factory
- ensure employee health and safety, product safety and protection of the environment
- enhance product quality, plant performance and business objectives
- development and implementation of the strategic vision of the factory
- Define, propose and monitor the implementation of the Factory Engineering team plans and objectives
- Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources
- Lead and coordinate the Factory Engineering team and maintain competencies
- Propose and control the Factory Engineering budget and capital investment plans
- Planning and managing all approved capital projects
- Propose and monitor Factory Engineering in accordance with the key performance indicators
- Demonstrate and promote the company's values within the Factory Engineering team
- Contributing toward the Strategic and Tactical Leadership of the factory
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical-, Chemical-, Process
- minimum 5 years related work experience in leader role
- Knowledge of food processing plant and technology is an advantage
- Maintenance technologies, Operation of utilities
- Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering is also advantage
- Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers
- Asset and Maintenance Management, CAPEX budgeting and preparation
- Industrial Services and Energy Management
- Heat exchanger systems & Ammonia knowledge
- ability to apply root cause problem solving and technical creativity to resolve complex issues
- ability to perform under pressure and in ambiguous situations
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills – ability to balance and prioritize several projects simultaneously
