About the role

  • Maintain the reliability and functionality of in-house computer hardware and software systems
  • Coordinate the deployment, installation, upgrades, and de-installation of desktop hardware and software
  • Provide support for plant floor systems while resolving users’ requests related to computer hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, performance tune, administer, and troubleshoot all in-house computer-related hardware and software
  • Comply with company data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security, and authorization policies
  • Contribute analytical and technical expertise regarding in-house computer-related hardware and plant/business information technology
  • Promote cost effective, high-performance computer technology that supports continuous improvement for productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate inventory of computer-related hardware and software assets
  • Provide analytical, technical, and developmental expertise to support existing and future plant computer-related hardware, plant floor data collection systems, and business information systems
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and formulate corrective actions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related information systems/information technology experience OR 2-year technical degree
