About the role

  • Assist the Category Manager in developing country category plans during Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) by providing required brand-related inputs, such as consumer data and retail audit insights.
  • Support the Category Manager to achieve NNS/RIG/OG/OP1 objectives at the country level for the defined category.
  • Collaborate with the Category Manager on all brand-related inputs for Monthly Business Planning meetings and actively participate in those meetings.
  • Help ensure pricing aligns with the validated pricing strategy for the category; recommend consumer pricing and define desired relative pricing when required.
  • Develop briefs for consumer activity implementation and obtain the necessary approvals.
  • Assist the Category Manager in organizing and following up on all category activities and events, proposing improvements to enhance results and future planning.
  • Manage category-specific sampling activities.
  • Execute structured and regular trade and in-home visits, translating shopper, consumer, and trade observations into actionable insights to support category and brand decisions (pricing, assortment, visibility, availability, activation).
  • Understand the impact of PFME spend on the category P&L and monitor brand performance and health.
  • Assist the Category Manager with pre- and post-evaluation of consumer activities by providing required inputs and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing or a related function, ideally in sales at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence others and effectively manage and develop people.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Persuasive presentation and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience in category, channel, or customer management.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and Portuguese.
