About the role
- Lead the team
- Ensure the best possible working atmosphere to create a motivating work environment and support team development
- Coach the team and act as a role model in sales processes through active presence on the sales floor to advise customers and sell products
- Continuously develop and expand team competencies
- Conduct regular employee meetings and implement development measures relating to coffee expertise, customer retention and service
- Enhance the customer experience
- Deliver excellent execution of the “sell through service” philosophy in the boutique
- Improve service quality and customer satisfaction
- Realize the ultimate coffee experience in the boutique
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Implement all regional and national marketing activities
- Organize administrative tasks and inventory management
- Plan staff schedules
- Collaborate with interfaces at Head Office and with the works council
- Handle customer complaints
- Maintain the customer database carefully
- Communicate with service providers to ensure smooth boutique operations (security, premises cleanliness, maintenance)
- Ensure adequate stock levels and check deliveries
- Responsible for compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations
- Achieve sales and profit targets as set out in the annual budget
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in retail, food service, hospitality or a comparable industry with responsibility for employees
- Degree from a University of Applied Sciences and/or completed commercial vocational training
- Several years of experience in leading and motivating teams
- Initial experience with inventory management processes and cash handling
- Experience with budget responsibility, finance and relevant KPIs
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy and strong ability to build intercultural relationships with employees and customers
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Very good German and English language skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
