About the role
- Responsible for supporting the integrity of the factory’s financial structure and providing accuracy in the reporting and analysis of operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards.
- Maintain purchase orders in SAP.
- Answer all AP related questions, and work with departments including Buying, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve AP issues.
- Perform goods receipts against purchase orders to initiate invoice payments.
- Clear all workflow blocked and parked invoices.
- Provide assistance to other departments to clear blocked invoices.
- Set up vendors in SAP and update vendor information as needed.
- Maintain AMEX Purchasing Card files, send out P-card initial training materials, and perform duties as AMEX administrator.
- Perform month-end close duties – review previous accruals, and set up current month accrual entries.
- Prepare monthly reports to include but not limited to energy report, waste report, management letter & departmental cost reports.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
- OR An Associate's Degree in finance, accounting, or business plus at least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
