About the role
- Provide professional support to develop agricultural activities focusing on fieldwork, suppliers, farmers, and stakeholders
- Conduct business intelligence in the region and provide management with insights of the local farming and sourcing environment
- Provide technical assistance to farmers and manage specific projects related to expertise
- Expected daily travel within a 5-mile radius of the Morton Facility
Requirements
- University or technical degree in agriculture, food sciences, veterinary or equivalent
- Hands-on exposure to work/projects with farmers or in rural environment
- Job experience in sourcing with a strong interest for purchasing
- Basic experience in supplier development principles is desirable
