About the role
- Support Distribution Sales Manager in overseeing corporate distributor relationships and sales activities
- Review root causes of distributor rebate discrepancies, provide consistent reporting of causes, and develop strategy to resolve root causes and reduce rebate discrepancies and the resulting open rebate balances
- Propose modifications to processes and systems to gain efficiencies
- Audit distributor for compliance with terms of distribution agreement
- Review all direct and indirect consumable sales for high quantity purchases or other unusual buying patterns
- Develops and implements effective reporting tools to facilitate sales and distribution management team in achieving sales goals
- Implement business strategies to distribution partners to attain commitment
- Review and analyze promotion performance
- Maintain payments to foodservice distributors / buying groups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Experience in an analytical role supporting retail, e-commerce, or B2B customers is preferred
- Superior analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Power BI, Power Point and Advanced Excel
- Strong quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel required
- Strong technical skills including an understanding of relational databases
