About the role
- Configure, maintain and optimize MES applications to support key processes (recipe management, scheduling, material consumption, lot traceability).
- Provide user support, training and incident resolution.
- Develop MES and FAS expertise within the team.
- Ensure MES interaction with other systems such as SAP and automation.
- Ensure compliance with group requirements for MES and FAS.
- Manage server infrastructure (migrations, patching, updates) to ensure reliability.
- Lead the plant's digital pillar from roadmap definition through deployment.
- Work closely with production, quality and IT teams to meet operational needs.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science, automation or an equivalent technical field.
- Solid experience in MES engineering, ideally in the food industry or process industry.
- Programming skills (experience with common languages is an asset).
- Knowledge of automation is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing MES projects from design through commissioning.
- Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools (BI/BA).
- Network management and server administration experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
