About the role

  • This role is responsible for continuous and sustainable elimination of maintenance and engineering losses in the factory that significantly impact the performance and total cost of production.
  • Build capabilities and lead problem solving as a corporate support in the Technical Competency Center.
  • Lead improvements in all areas of the Maintenance Department without direct authority, especially with technicians and production team members.
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction to less senior engineers within the market.
  • Partner with factories to establish a "Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss" culture in Maintenance.

Requirements

  • Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering (Maintenance & Reliability, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or equivalent) strongly preferred or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
  • Certified Level 3 Vibration analyst.
  • Recognized skills in Engineering and Maintenance.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and passion for continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the cost drivers of Maintenance in manufacturing operations.
  • Good working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP preferred) with the ability to mine and analyze data for trends/reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
