About the role
- Supervise associates in picking merchandise, consolidating orders, packing orders, and shipping packages
- Oversee secondary production functions related to the assigned department, such as returns and return-to-vendor processes
- Implement an optimal staffing mix during assigned shifts
- Maintain accurate records of processed merchandise and associate productivity
- Prepare daily reports of metrics for the management team
- Maintain high quality and productivity standards in assigned department(s)
- Coach and develop warehouse leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred or equivalent level of industry experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of previous distribution experience
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Proven supervisory skill set
- Self-starter with integrity and confidence
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs
