About the role
- Collaborate with software developers to understand features and functionality and provide feedback on quality.
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases for our web applications and services.
- Automate test cases and review the automation developed by other members of the team.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and trends in quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in web applications/services environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Playwright.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
