About the role
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point, quickly unblocking developers and resolving complex issues to keep projects moving forward.
- Lead architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to coding standards, completing all required checklist items to support on-time delivery.
- Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to design scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs, actively contributing to grooming, planning, and design sessions.
- Research and assess new technologies to improve backend performance and efficiency, tracking progress in Jira and pausing work as needed to support higher-priority team needs.
- Identify performance, scalability, and security issues across projects, and collaborate with Technical Leads to implement improvements and share best practices organization-wide.
- Own and maintain technical documentation for cross-project features, tools, and technologies to ensure continuity, traceability, and efficient onboarding.
- Support hiring efforts by reviewing code tests and participating in interviews to ensure candidates meet technical standards.
- Accurately log time with clear, timely entries and consistently meet utilization targets.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and foster a culture of learning to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- - 5+ years of experience in software development.
- - CEFR Level B2 English language proficiency.
- - Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- - Extensive experience with serverless architecture, AWS, and Python. (For Backend Solutions Architect)
- - Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. (For Backend Solutions Architect)
- - Extensive experience with React, JavaScript, Material UI, and Formik. (For Frontend Solutions Architect)
- - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple options and make informed decisions based on technical and business considerations.
- - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- - Experience with software architecture principles.
- - Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
- - Experience with security and data protection standards.
