About the role
- Work with the project team to assist in the overall efforts for successful completion of design, documentation, and construction
- Perform complex design and construction documentation in project assignments
- Lead a team in the technical execution of Retail projects
- Lead team in the preparation of construction documentation
- Partner with the Project Manager in the overall delivery of project goals and objectives
- Develop innovative design solutions that are practical, aesthetic, safe and conducive to intended purposes
- Lead the overall project technical development for large scale and/or complex projects
- Provide product research and compile data during design phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in: Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Highly proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD
- Advanced detailing and construction documentation knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of codes and their application
- Advanced knowledge of construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
- Knowledge of new products and trends in design
- Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and/or sub consultants
- Knowledge of the construction administration process
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint
- Advanced in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop and Revit skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite skills preferred
- Basic proficiency of 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006 preferred
