About the role
- Lead large-scale, strategic IT programs spanning multiple interrelated projects, owning program vision and roadmap.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies, timelines, budgets, and program-level deliverables.
- Define program metrics, track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure benefits are realized.
- Provide transparent reporting, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication.
- Oversee execution within enterprise standards and SDLC governance and support project teams' short-term goals.
- May directly oversee workstreams or coordinate with assigned workstream owners and matrixed individuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in the software development industry with demonstrated expertise in delivery lifecycle management and program-level coordination.
- Ability to travel as needed to support program activities, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a United States Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience with Agile practices, SDLC governance, program budgeting, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, leadership, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience interfacing with managers, directors, and executives and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
