Field Engineer

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls
• Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access

Field Service Technician II

• Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on-site at our customers’ locations.
• Problem-solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan your time effectively, and know when and to whom to escalate issues to.
• Apply the knowledge that you learn during your on-the-job training to resolve task related problems in straightforward situations emphasizing on manual skills.
• Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs. You will learn this on Day 1.
• Complete NCR Atleos specific Trainings and Certifications on our training website.
• Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
• Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.
• Maintain parts inventory and related records.
• Accurately reporting hours worked and miles driven daily.

Field Service Technician I

• Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs.
• You will learn this on Day 1.
• Complete NCR Atleos specific trainings and certifications on our training website.

Consultant

• Analyze, Install, Configure, Troubleshoot
• Perform functional analysis of requirements to determine effort required to implement software in customers’ environments.
• Configure base software in customer’s environments.
• Conduct unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements.
• Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code.
• Establish acceptance criteria and quality goals.
• Provide estimates, goals, standards, constraints and dependencies as input to the SOW and the software development plan.

Technical Consultant IV

General

• Repairing Chronic Units and Outliers to ensure a quality repair by working on an average of 2 ATMs each day
• Complete full Preventative maintenance on all Modules
• Use of NCR Atleos Knowledge systems, repositories and resources to ensure a quality, long lasting repair
• PPK management to ensure correct parts on hand
• Review device logs and decode to identify root cause
• Travel outside your regular service area as needed (may require occasional overnight stays)
• Provide input to the Knowledge Systems as and when required
• Delivers quality support and enhanced results meeting established KPI and Customer SLA

Master Field Technician

Implementation Specialist

• Installs, repairs and maintains hardware of ATM’s and related devices.
• Produces and maintains equipment performance/activity reports and installs modifications.
• Provides multi-vendor maintenance.
• Maintains day-to-day customer relationships; updates customers on equipment modifications; escalates issues.
• Diagnose problems – based on the information provided in assigned call as well as working with the customer to determine all issues at the site.
• Responsible for ownership of customer issues until resolution according to SLA agreements.
• Daily process the movement of stock and nature of the callout details on the mobile app.
• Communicate status updates with your electronic call notes throughout the day.
• Deal with customers and third-party service providers telephonically and in-person.
• Travel within South Africa to perform ATM’s and related devices servicing, installations and repairs.
• Be available on the stand-by roster on weekends, public holidays or weekend shift work, when required.

Customer Engineer

• Position responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements
• Required to perform work on products and services of low complexity, specifically financial/ATM products; Make minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment such as PCs, workstations and peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, First Line Maintenance on ATMs and kiosks, and single pocket proof encoders
• Responsible for assisting in site preparation, including installation of cable, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment; May also perform required modular swaps and unit replacements
• Customer Engineer responds to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or by escalating them to the proper associate, team member, territory manager, or the Control Tower
• Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with customer account at the local level; Represents NCR in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company
• Performs periodic preventative maintenance on assigned products; Diagnoses problems, makes minor repairs, and replaces components (at the module level)
• Follows appropriate security procedures when working with ATM's and or within financial institution
• Responsible for all NCR assets that will be used in the delivery of customer services (i.e. tools, software, vehicles, documentation, and intellectual property), or as assigned by management; Maintain an appropriate parts inventory as well as parts record keeping
• Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of calls and activity, as well as other reporting as required; Responsible for tracking and reporting all expenses incurred in the delivery of services, including telephone, private automobile, and/or public transportation
• Responsible for capturing detailed customer asset information and other data required to complete any invoicing or billing activities
• May be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis or may establish his/her own daily schedule on the basis of automated reports
• May require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs.); May require bending/squatting, walking/standing /sitting for prolonged periods; May be required to work on rotating shifts
• Ensure staff productivity measures are achieved
• Work together with Call Center Staff via PDA to recover machines
• Work together with Security Escort Officer
