About the role

  • Serve as the technical liaison across engineering, product, marketing, and customer-facing teams
  • Partner closely with product and engineering to understand the 'tech under the hood', including how DataBee delivers outcomes and differentiates from competitors
  • Develop technical marketing content, including white papers, solution briefs, technical guides, blogs, demos, and videos
  • Translate deep technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging that can be consumed by any target audience, from engineers to CISOs and executives
  • Provide thought leadership on what DataBee brings to market and how we articulate our technical expertise and value proposition
  • Support sales and go-to-market teams with technical narratives, positioning, FAQs, and customer-ready materials
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams on a day-to-day basis
  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence within the cybersecurity and broader technology landscape
  • Represent DataBee externally as a technical voice in webinars, events, analyst discussions, and selected customer meetings
  • Gather feedback from the field and relay insights back to product and marketing to influence roadmap and messaging

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong background in cyber risk
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms, cloud environments, APIs, or data platforms
  • Strong writing and presentation skills with an eye for storytelling and clarity
  • Experience using AI responsibly and effectively for research and content creation at scale
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, product-driven environment
  • Experience in cyber compliance or GRC (or adjacent cybersecurity domains) is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud and data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, data pipelines, analytics platforms) is a plus
  • Prior experience in technical marketing, sales engineering, or solutions engineering is a plus
  • Experience engaging with CISOs, compliance leaders, or executive stakeholders is a plus
