About the role
- Serve in a technical lead role for DLP (endpoint and email) engineering and policy/rule development
- Provide technical project management/oversight and hands-on SME level support within areas of focus
- Support DLP initiatives from conceptual phase to operationalization, including solution maturation
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and support incident/problem resolution
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team of cyber engineers
- Evaluate technical solutions in response to business challenges and present technical solutions for knowledge sharing and acceptance
- Provide project support and status reporting and represent changes via CAB meetings
- Establish and maintain system documentation and collaborate with partnering teams for solution development and deployment
- Weekly work of 40 hours (generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday); may require nights/weekends based on project needs; travel required but limited
Requirements
- Strong team player, able to communicate and show leadership amongst teams of similarly knowledgeable specialists and Engineers
- Experience leading technical teams
- Experience working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Minimum (7) years’ experience in Security Engineering with a concentration on DLP
- Minimum (7) years’ experience with System design, administration, security, and DLP rule development
- Proficient and professional verbal and written communication, including group training
- Practical understanding of machine learning and automation
- Desired: 10+ years’ experience with DLP design, administration, and security
- Desired: Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, certifications, or equivalent work experience
- Desired: Experience with Palo Alto DLP, and MS Purview DLP
- Desired: Active CISSP Certification
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
