About the role

  • Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and track expenses against the budget
  • Support analysis of schedule, identify and investigate schedule variance, and implement corrective actions
  • Collect data, update, and produce scheduling reports
  • Assist in development and maintenance of work breakdown structures and basic schedule development
  • Review and understand engineering, procurement, decontamination/decommissioning schedule logic and CPM scheduling
  • Support gathering and assembling data for schedule updating and measurement of project schedule progress
  • Understand scope control, change management, and earned value methodology
  • Gather data for schedule baseline development and maintenance
  • Support monthly report preparation and participate in planning and scheduling meetings
  • Perform special cost or schedule studies and scenario development
  • Support proposal preparation by computing cost, maintaining cost database, and assembling backup documentation
  • Act as a liaison with other project departments to resolve technical problems
  • Communicate effectively on cost and schedule criteria and explain performance systems to cost account managers
  • Ensure training and qualifications are up to date and participate in professional development

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
  • None required for licenses/certifications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles
  • US citizenship required (due to government contract/clearance requirements)
