About the role
- Provide first-class travel support via chat, phone and email
- Keep your knowledge of suppliers, destinations and systems up to date
- Quickly assess customer needs, urgency and preferences
- Carefully handle hotel, flight, car rental and train bookings
- Advise customers on self-service options in the Navan platform and app
- Respond promptly while meeting SLA requirements
- Comply with company and client policies to ensure global compliance
- Provide feedback to stakeholders on progress toward goals and key processes
- Participate in team meetings on products, suppliers and industry updates
- Stay informed about travel industry best practices
- Maintain attendance, complete assigned training and meet performance metrics
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a travel consultant with experience in flight, rail and hotel bookings; minimum 3 years of GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo) (required)
- Languages: Fluent German (required) and strong English
- Customer Service: Experience in a contact center or other customer-facing roles
- Technical Skills: Proficient with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack and Salesforce
- Availability: Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 19:00
- Days Off: Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
- Skills: Ability to multitask, quickly resolve urgent issues and work independently to troubleshoot
- Personal Attributes: Empathetic, professional and excellent verbal and written communication skills
