About the role
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Integrate and optimize APIs, with a focus on the Shopify Admin API
- Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Support automation of deployment processes on the Google Cloud Platform
- Improve existing systems in terms of performance, reliability, and scalability
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in backend development with Python
- Knowledge of API design and integration (REST & GraphQL)
- Practical experience with cloud infrastructures, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions
- Fluent German and good English, both spoken and written
- Ideally at least 2 years of experience in an e‑commerce or tech environment
