About the role
- Develop new product concepts in cosmetics and dietary supplements based on market, competitor and customer analyses
- Manage product development from concept to launch with external labs, manufacturers and suppliers
- Responsible for product lifecycle management (launch, optimization, renovation/reformulation, and where applicable delisting)
- Further develop and prioritize the product portfolio
- Optimize existing products regarding quality, costs (COGS), reviews and returns
- Coordinate product launches cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, QA and Regulatory
- Ensure regulatory compliance (cosmetics & supplements, EU)
- Responsible for labeling, artwork and approval processes
Requirements
- Experience in product development and/or product management, ideally in cosmetics, supplements, FMCG or related sectors
- Understanding of formulations, packaging and manufacturing processes (not a laboratory role, but confident in interactions with CMOs/labs)
- Experience managing external partners and suppliers
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements (cosmetics and/or dietary supplements, EU)
- Structured, self-driven working style with high quality standards
- Strong commercial understanding (costs, margin, profitability)
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent German and good command of English
