About the role
- Development of new product concepts in cosmetics and dietary supplements based on market, competitor and customer analyses.
- Management of product development from concept to launch in coordination with external laboratories, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Responsibility for product lifecycle management (launch, optimization, refresh/reformulation, and where applicable delisting).
- Ongoing development and prioritization of the product portfolio.
- Optimization of existing products with regard to quality, costs (COGS), reviews and returns.
- Cross-functional coordination of product launches with Marketing, Supply Chain, QA and Regulatory.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (cosmetics & supplements, EU).
- Ownership of label, artwork and approval processes.
Requirements
- Experience in product development and/or product management, ideally in cosmetics, supplements, FMCG or related industries.
- Understanding of formulations, packaging and manufacturing processes (this is not a laboratory role, but you must be confident liaising with CMOs/labs).
- Experience managing external partners and suppliers.
- Confident handling of regulatory requirements (cosmetics and/or dietary supplements, EU).
- Structured, independent working style with a strong quality mindset.
- Strong commercial understanding (costs, margin, profitability).
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration.
- Very good German and good English skills.
