About the role

  • Development of new product concepts in cosmetics and dietary supplements based on market, competitor and customer analyses.
  • Management of product development from concept to launch in coordination with external laboratories, manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Responsibility for product lifecycle management (launch, optimization, refresh/reformulation, and where applicable delisting).
  • Ongoing development and prioritization of the product portfolio.
  • Optimization of existing products with regard to quality, costs (COGS), reviews and returns.
  • Cross-functional coordination of product launches with Marketing, Supply Chain, QA and Regulatory.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (cosmetics & supplements, EU).
  • Ownership of label, artwork and approval processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in product development and/or product management, ideally in cosmetics, supplements, FMCG or related industries.
  • Understanding of formulations, packaging and manufacturing processes (this is not a laboratory role, but you must be confident liaising with CMOs/labs).
  • Experience managing external partners and suppliers.
  • Confident handling of regulatory requirements (cosmetics and/or dietary supplements, EU).
  • Structured, independent working style with a strong quality mindset.
  • Strong commercial understanding (costs, margin, profitability).
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
