About the role

  • Manage and develop customers in the FMCG market, such as Rewe, Edeka and the Markant Group, in line with the company’s defined objectives.
  • Continuously develop the sales territory to sustainably increase sales, profitability and market share.
  • Acquire new customers and continuously identify market opportunities.
  • Sell products and concepts, present assortments, and actively contribute to achieving company targets.
  • Expand distribution and shelf space for premium products.
  • Provide professional advice to customers on sales promotion materials — observe economic guidelines and monitor market changes and competitor activities.
  • Attend trade shows and fairs and professionally represent the company on site.
  • Obtain active orders and ensure smooth order processing.
  • Handle complaints professionally, solution-oriented and with a customer-friendly approach.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in field sales for a branded goods manufacturer or in FMCG retail, ideally in the food or OTC sector.
  • Results-oriented, strong communicator and confident negotiator.
  • Flexibility, stamina and optimism to successfully master a variety of tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B).
  • Proactive and persistent in approaching customers, with a passion for selling and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Actively maintain and expand your network with retail decision-makers.
