About the role

  • Manage and develop customer accounts in the FMCG market, including retailers such as Rewe and Edeka
  • Continuously develop the sales territory to increase revenue
  • Acquire new customers and identify market potential
  • Sell products and concepts and present the product range
  • Expand distribution and shelf space for premium products
  • Provide expert advice to customers on sales promotion materials and monitor market changes
  • Attend trade shows and fairs, professionally representing the company
  • Actively secure orders and ensure smooth order processing
  • Handle customer complaints professionally

Requirements

  • Several years of field sales experience with a branded goods manufacturer or in FMCG retail, ideally in the food or OTC (over-the-counter) sector
  • Results-oriented, strong communicator, and confident negotiator
  • Flexible, resilient, and optimistic
  • Willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Valid driving license (Class B)
  • Committed and friendly sales manner with a passion for building long-term customer relationships
  • Active network of decision-makers within the retail sector
