About the role

  • Provide comprehensive HR Generalist support with a strong focus on leave management, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers by ensuring policy compliance, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for employees and managers on all leave of absence (LOA) matters.
  • Manage end-to-end employee and manager communications related to leaves of absence.
  • Educate employees and people leaders on leave policies, procedures, and expectations to ensure consistent understanding and compliance.
  • Own and manage the People/HR inbox by monitoring, responding to, and triaging employee and manager inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Analyze trends in employee inquiries and recommend enhancements to HR processes, policies, or communications to improve the employee experience.
  • Support benefits administration activities and assist with performance management and talent processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of FMLA, state leave laws, and general HR compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with union-related compliance requirements.
  • Experience of partnering with third-party leave administrators; prior experience with Lincoln Financial Group is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with UKG HRIS platforms and standard office productivity tools.
